Gas pedal problems...

Anyone else ever have gas pedal problems... My pedel "lever" I guess you could call it must be a little bent because the bottom of the pedel sticks in the carpet. Not safe, not safe, I believe that my pedel is actually broke now and leaning. So....

I just whacked the bottom of the pedal off, red kneck style. Whats a guy to do... I tried putting washer under where it mounts on the firewall, that helped a little but is limited to the length of the bolt. Its also less sturdy like this. I'm just not much on it sticking in the carpet though......

Shewwww... FORD = Junk. WHy didnt toyota make the mustang [:@]

Wow thats not good. Have you done the gas pedal mod where you bring the gas pedal to the same height as the brake and clutch pedal??

Thanks... I didn't realize it was a sticky. I actually have tried that, I used some lead instead though just pinched up around the line, that didn't hold, I tried rubber grommets, they fall off. I'll try something with a clamp, maybe it will work..

Thanks!

No prob, If it this doesnt work then your gas pedal will be rendered useless. Meaning that you cant drive your car, which would mean you have to give those rims to me:D

Just out of curiosity did you drop the stang 1-2 inches? Maybe the picture just hides the 4x4 look of our cars. If you do have it dropped how do you change the oil? I want to drop mine around 1.5' but still want to be able to easily change the oil in my driveway.

Check these out. It looks to me like these would work well, you could use them to give clearance for jack/jackstands.
