It's been a while

Whats up guys and gals. It's been a while since I've been on here. I've been busy trying to prepare for basic training in the Army national guard. Anyways, before I go ship off I wanted ask for some advice on what I should do with my car before I leave and it sits in my garage for 7 months. I appreciate any advice on things people have had problems with letting their cars sit for long periods of time.

By the way, for all those who might care, I'm going in as a 15T (Blackhawk repairer) on the path of becoming a pilot. I think helicopters will be much more fun to pilot than driving cars. ;)

Thanks again and I hope to be back here later on.

well good luch with all that, I would keep it in a heated garage if at all possible, and have someone start it up once a month maybe. Quick question, your car is a 2003 and you have the king cobra clutch?

disconnect battery

id put some baking soda in a small dishes in each seat to keep moisture to a minimum

plug the exhaust tips to keep animals and bugs from going in there

fuel stabilizer

full tank of fuel

have someone start it and move it through the gears once every 2 weeks or so

i would move it a little every so often to keep the tires from getting flat spots or ive heard about people putting it on jacks... but i dunno about that

put a cover on it.

It's a 2000 GT with a 99 Cobra bumper and hood. The 99-01 cobra hoods were the same as the 2001.5-2004 V6 hoods. My screen name is just my AIM screen name thats all. Sorry about the confusion lol.

Fuel stabilizer? Is that like seafoam?

Sta-bil is the popular brand name, just to let you know. It helps to keep you gas from turning into molasses.
