their interiors are off the hook tho... but to mod them like 99-04 costs alot more & they dont handle as well

i don't discriminate V6 from V8 new edge stangs when i see them, they still look the same other than the little GT badge. Cause as I said earlier I see new edges EVERYWHERE, v6 or v8 still a new edge hah(and to most ppl who aren't into cars as much as we are, they can't tell the v6 from v8 anyway). Now if I was just talking bout race worthy mustangs that'd be something different maybe. But I do agree with the bland look of some SN-95's. Thats why I got some exterior stuff before I got engine stuff.

I myself really like the 99-04 Mustang wedge shaped body design much much better than the 05-07 Mustang body style. I can tell you one thing about the 05-07 Mustangs. They all look really BORING. They do NOT have the aggressive styling like the 99-04 Mustang. The newer 07 Mustangs have a hood scoop on them, but the hood scoop is too small. It looks disporportionate on the car. The hood scoop is not enough to make the 07 Mustang look nice. The 05-07 Mustangs don't even have any HIPS. The entire body panels on both sides of the car are flat and boring looking. Also, the 05-07 Mustangs are too long.
Overall, the 99-04 Mustang body design looks aggressive looking and has a lot of the same exact looks of the 69-70 Mustang body design. If you look closely at the 99-04 Mustang body style, the entire rear end of the car looks almost exactly like the rear end on the 69-70 Mustang. Also, the huge hood scoop on the 01-04 Mustang looks almost like the huge hoodscoop that Ford used on the 69-70 Mustang. They are almost similar with one another. The other thing that makes the wedge shaped body style Mustang look similar to the aggressive looks of the 69-70 Mustang are the huge side scoops and the nicely shaped hips on the rear quarter panels over the rear wheels. When you look at all 4 sides of the 99-04 Mustang, every side of the car looks very aggressive looking. The front, the rear, and the 2 sides are all aggressive looking. They are not boring looking like the 05-07 Mustang. Also, the 99-04 Mustangs are wider looking than the 05-07 Mustangs. The newer 05-07 Mustangs look too narrow when you look at them from the front or from the rear. The wider look of the 99-04 Mustang makes the Mustang look more aggressive. Take a close look at everything that I mentioned in this post and you will see exactly why the 99-04 wedge shaped body style is much nicer looking than the boring and genetic looking 05-07 Mustang body style.

I wanted to buy a 99-04 new edge but picked my 98 up for cheap. The look of the sn95's are starting to grow on me and i like them alot!!! The new mustangs are nice but look bigger and bulky. I do love the new roush mustangs, those cars are sweet in person.

Welcome aboard and nice Stang you picked up. Sorry to say, but I wouldnt be able to pass up getting a 3v over a 2v if the price was right and the money didnt matter. I wouldnt be able to stoop as low as getting a 94-98 Stang even if it was a 5spd. I'll take my automatic 01 GT over any 94-98 GT.

I like the looks of the 96-98 cars (I think anyone with one should purchase the early model cobra bumper though, pure sex) but the NPI engine is just TOO much to take.
The 05+ is defianatly a faster car than the 99-04, but just a few hundred bucks in boltons should fix that 99.99 percent of the time (unless you run into john force). The NPI cars on the other hand are just dog *** slow from the factory, and nothing helps em until you do a PI swap.

hahaha that's funny. NO way does the 99-04 resemble the 69-70 stangs AT ALL, maybe the vertical taillights and thats about it. Believe me this is coming from a guy who's dad owns a 69 mach and brother owns a 70 mustang. they look nothing alike. 05-07 stangs look so much more like them, but i don't think they should have done it, but they resemble the 6-70 stangs best than any other stang out there that doesn't resemble them at all. You could throw a hood scoop on any car and say, "hey that hood scoop looks like a 69-70 hood scoop, oh wait all hood scoops look the same pretty much i forgot." and the rear ends look nothing alike. not trying to sound like an *** which i pretty much am but there is nothing whatsoever that makes those types of cars look alike.

well i guess everyone has their diff. opinions but living with a 69 and 70 stang for years now i can tell theres no differences from a new edge sn-95 and those.
