So Im trying to learn here so go easy on me lol. Why exactly would say a 200 shot destroy my engine, while a 100 shot is fine? Is it that the nitrous is causing the engine to run too lean or raise the compression too much or what?

It's just too much. Get a built motor then do it.

yeah its just too much on the motor itself. The motor can only handle so much and a 200 shot would put it over its limit.

Im not planning on using nitrous and I realize that a 200 shot is too much. What I want to know is why.

Well basically what nitrous does is puts more oxygen into your air fuel mixter allowing you to burn more fuel, a 200 dry shot of nitrous will probably make you run too lean, a wet shot probably wouldnt have that problem. The reason that its bad for your engine if you are running stock internals is its just simply too much power for the stock internals to handle, which will probably result in a bent rod or some other damage to your engines internals. The strenght of the steel just isnt enough to hold all of that power. The same thing will happen if you are running too much boost for a super or a turbo charger. That is why forged internals are so much better, they are alot stonger and can handle that extra power.
