S/C setup 4 road racing

I would say a positive displacement, it allows for lateral boost build and flat power curves so you get the most in and out of a curve...however i think what you should look into more is niether...build the engine to be N/A so you dont need the extra weight/maintainence of a supercharger to deal with...besides you shouldnt need more than 500 rwhp to be competitive

He doesn't have a 4v....he wont get more then 350 out of his 2v NA. If I was ever to do an NA build...I would buy a 4v motor and have it built then drop it in.

Years of testing has shown that a centri is best suited for the road course. Most prefer the vortech s-trim because of the reliability you get with the better oiling system. During road races you need something that will hold up to the heat. i have seen great traction out of the corners with my car. There is good power down low and its not slower than a twin screw. If anything I would think that its faster because theres better traction.

Even if someone has a car thats putting down 500+ rwhp, traction could be a problem... but good tires and a suspension fixes that to a point. Eventually, I would think a driver mod comes to play. When I've seen road racing, very few guys just romp on the accelerator going thru a turn or whatever. Playing with the throttle would seem to be very key in road racing... knowing how much to get on it at certain points on the track. I don't see where either supercharger would be better if you knew how to drive the car on the course.

I would think either would be fine.. considering on a road race course your going to want to continualy stay in your power band (meaning down shifting a LOT), your very rarely going to be out of centri's boost.. if your shifting at a point where your droping below 3500 RPM, your shifting WAAAAY to damn early.
