98 GT & 97 Cobra Tranny??

Are the tranny's in a 96-98 cobra the same as 96-98 GT's?

NO!!! They are not the same. Yes they are both t-45's, but there is something different about the case. Trust me, I just bought a cobra tranny for my 97.

+1. Trust me also the tail section is different. The trans mount is about 2 to 3 in reward on the tail section.[:@]
