I painted mine one day. The passanger side is very easy to get off, but the drivers side is one major pain in the @$$!!!!!! I used duplicolor adhesion promoter, and their plastic paint. I would like to pull them off and do a better job, but like I said, the pains with the driver side is preventing me from getting up the patience to do it.

Personally Id stay away from white all over unless you plan on cleaning your engine religiously. What about silver or gray with the white stripes?

Nope the passengers side is by far the easiest to remove. The drivers side you have to deal with the throttle cable coming out of the firewall and the master cylinder in the way of the last corner bolt.
