Default Injector issue

My car was in a hit and run and the damage was not that bad so I drove it home. After I get it from the autobody shop (looking very nice btw) it shuddered quite a bit. So I knew what this was because this happened before (coil pack). They found the bad coil pack and they replaced it. Now it still has this issue. I spoke to the guy and he will do a flow test on the injectors. He said if its not the injectors then it could be the ECU.

My car has around 96000, does everyone think it times for the injectors to be replaced? I just don't want to get burned by this guy.

EDIT: I also had no CEL light for the coil pack or the injector

Thanks!!

I'd have them cleaned before I had them replaced. Unless you have a dead cylinder that has compression, the injector is probably fine. Did it "shudder" real bad on the way home after the wreck? I assume by "coil pack" you are referring to one of the eight individual coils that are on your car.

Be sure and check the IAT censor too. If you do need new injectors I have a set of 24lbs that came off my 04 with about 25k on them.

It didn't shutter really bad, in fact it drove home perfectly fine...even the body shop said it ran fine.

The only thing I can think of is a surge went to the injector when they were welding, but I have no CEL to prove it...

AIT sensor is a real good place to look. May have been damaged. that car came with 19lb injectors I have a set that I pulled at 5k when I added a vortech and went to 42lb injectors. You will need to replace with 19's or you will need to recal your MAF. I would be willing to almost give my 19's away. But I would look at AIT first.

The AIT appears to be fine and measure the temp without any issues (from what I can tell with my handheld). So right now I am clueless and don't want to get ripped off

I usually (95% of the time) run gas with cleaner already in it (shell v-power) would that be good enough, or should I add a additive?
