Cobra Motor Swap Questions...
Hey guys- what all is needed for a full 03/04 Terminator engine swap??? Obviously the full motor, heat exchanger/reservoir, and computer but what else? Anyone else done this? Also will a T-45 bolt up to the 03/04 32V? Im seriously starting to look into it just wondering what some pointers are. Thanks!

RE: Cobra Motor Swap Questions...
I don't think I would chance the T45 on the Terminator motor. You can find a ton of T56 tranny on svtperformance for sale pretty decently priced, or a nice new TKO ....
As far as the swap goes, as long as you have the motor, computer, all the cooling components, I believe you should be fine. You would need to upgrade the suspension and brakes (or atleast I would).
I would check out www.svtperformance.com - there are a ton of things in the for sale section that can help you - maybe even save you some money...

RE: Cobra Motor Swap Questions...
Hey man thanks for the insight. If the T-45 would be used it would only be temporary until I could get the TKO or 56. Has anyone on this site with a 99-04 GT performed this swap yet?

You would need the new tranny, drive shaft, clutch, complete motor (with all accessories + exhaust manifolds), PCM, wiring harnesses, throttle and cruise cables, and possibly the radiator. Thats all I can think of right now...
I don't think the t-45 would bolt up without some fab work. Youd be better off saving up some coin and just doing it all at once.
