Default question on drag radials??

After i supercharge my car i am definately going to need to invest into something other than street tires...so im looking at some drag radials...i currently have 18x9 chrome saleens wrapped in Kumho Ecsta MX tires (about 3k on the tires)....i was just wondering if a lot of you just get the radials for the rear and keep street tires for the front...or do mostly everybody get all 4 tires radials?? I just figured it would save me some money to get some nitto's or bfg's for the rear and keep my fairly new kumho street tires up front considering they are still fairly new?? any comments? thanks guys...

i have mickey thompson drag radials...they hook so well. you will be happpy with the m/t. i have 2 m/t drag radials on seperate rims. i just swap them out whenever i feel like messing around or going to the track. i would not use drag radials for everday driving seeings they wear soo fast and due to the fact you have 0 traction in the rain. get some 17x9 rims and wrap them with 275-40-17 mickey thompson drag radials. you will love it

I'd get a spare set of 9" wide rims and buy some BFGs, or M/Ts for the track. Im running sumitumos 17/35/315 street tires right now and they work okay for winter tires- but dont mash the gas in 1rst or 2nd....instant redline lol.

+1

My car still hooks fine with the nittos. I can't wait to try the 315s when it warms up

I have seen cars run in the 10's on a set of M/Ts drs and lift the front wheel a foot in the air. Its not the tires man, it's eitehr your driving or your suspension set up.
