Dollar for dollar, the Fox will outrun the New Edge. The 5.0's are just a lot less expensive to get the power out of. Plus, Fox's are a lot lighter than the New Edge.

A Fox will be as reliable as it's built. Just like any other car.

Just to make this clear.... If I got the fox it would be a fun/toy car not a dd. I would be keeping my 03 gt as a daily driver. I was more interested in how the cars would perform with the budget I laid out.
Well if he bought a Fox he'll probably end up wasting half that money rebuilding everything because those cars are usually beat to hell and overpriced. That said seeing how it wouldn't be a DD I would probably go with the Fox.

Just like most cars. You can't forget about those damn rotaries

get a fox dude...cheaper parts easier to work on more mods out there for em...way cheaper investment

Maybe look for a 94 or 95

That way you get the cheap mod factor of the 302 5.0 and the larger SN95 body which might be a better DD.
