Actually, with the right suspension and tires and driving...it could run 11s. Look at the link 2000gt4.6 posted, that guy has 40xRWHP and ran an 11.4.

Hey, for all you guys who have chargers:

1. Do you regret spending the money?
2. What does it run in the 1/4?
3. Ever have any problems?
4. Any other advice?

I've taken a second job working at Amazon.com for the Christmas holiday, I've got a great postition there and plan to save the majority of the money I make will be just about enough to do the job. This is something I am seriously considering and something I want to do, but I don't want to regret it either.
I've been eyeballing this set up:
http://www.superchargersonline.com/p...r=V4FL218-130S

You requested a price quotation for: Vortech Supercharger Kit for 2000-2004 Ford Mustang GT (V-1 S-Trim, satin) [more info]
Part Number: V4FL218-130S
SuperchargersOnline.com*: $3,074.00
List Price: $3759.95
You Save: $685.95

Neil
If I can add a question #5: What kind of gas mileage are you guys getting?

I bought the supercharger online kit. It was around 3000 to the door, I bought a Lightning MAF for $90 a AFM powerpipe for $249. I already had a handheld and $250 for a Tune.
I don't regret it at all. It sucks seeing that large chunk of change come out of the account, but it was worth it to me.
And as far as the Walbro fuel pump that comes with it. I didnt splice anything, it plugs right in.

Yeah... thats on full slicks suspension and MD has a lot of other mods done. Also a really good driver in good air. He's had like a million passes with that car. The fact is you're going to need a lot more than a supercharger to run 11's.

I definately agree, alot of suspension work is needed....the guy said he did his all junkyard style though. Less than $500 in the suspension I believe.

HaV, I just noticed in your sig you are running a 70mm TB. why is that? with your supercharged setup you will get a lot more horses out of a 75mm

My plenum and TB is still stock and my SC is going to be done tonight! Its been really fun installing it with my dad and uncle. I can't wait to see how big of differences changes make after the SC, like tb/plenum combos.

You definatly won't run that on a stock car with a vortech.

However, you can definatly run high 11s with just boltons + cams + blower. MD didn't have that many passes before he went to slicks, and pulled out a 11.9x. He was/is a good driver though.

I would think even a moderalyi good driver with his limited suspension and 8.8 mods (seriously, i think he spend less than a grand) would be able to run at least 11.90s on slicks. (with the blower/cams/boltons).

also, I get about 21.5 MPG on the highway @ 70 MPH, and terrible mileage in town. I get terrible in town because I am always on the gas in town though
