You are going to need the harness. I just had a 03 cobra bumper put on. Just go to the dealership and get the cobra harnesses, they are like $10 each or something. Then you basically splice the harness onto your stock wires. I've heard of ways people have used the stock GT harness but do it the easy way and get the new harness.

Dude dont call people idiots when you dont even know the basics of wiring. Dont get a harness. How hard would it be to just cut and splice. Its very easy. Just cut the wires. Strip them and thread them. But i guess you really need a lot of experience to know that Well im a licensed electrician so i guess it's easy for me but geez i dont know how people that havent had that much experience cut and splice wires. Its very tricky you see.

no offense taken. i just wasnt sure if i could just splice and go. maybe something with the on/off switch in the car? everything still must work for youi assume.

and dont feel bad my dad owns an electrical contracting company and has been a master electrician in business for over 25 years. in vegas and colorado. so next time you decide to try and make it sound like im some bitch kid driving a mustang. decide on starting a new fund for a car better then a 2000 silver gt vert.

What exactly did you splice the wires into? The connectors on the GT and Cobra are different, so you have to splice the GT wires into the Cobra connector which comes on the harness. I don't get what you are just cutting and splicing? Something has to be plugged into the fog light.
