Rear seat delete???
hey do any of u guys have a rear seat delete kit on ur mustang??? i was think of takin it out and putting in subs or sumthing. Im almost 16 and idk if ill be drivin my friends around or not...but i just wanted sum info. thnks.

Yeah, I was thinking that too, but it just doesn't seem worth it.
I don't think you could set a sub box on there either. The one I was looking at would not be strong enough.

You can see I have had one, it was the delete with the insulation. But I took it out and put the stock seats back in... Because it was too damn loud!! It just let all the noise from my exhaust into my car... It was terrible I had to shout and always say"what"? when I would be talking to my passenger... I bought mine off of ebay for $50 of a private seller.... I like having a 2 seater. If your going to buy one, I would put some more sound deadner on it!

I thought taking out the rear seats was around 70 lbs... How much does the actual delete weigh then? I wouldn't think it would be 40 lbs. I thought they were light, which is why you can't put things like sub boxes on them.
BTW, for the poster, I have seen subs mounted in the back of the delete before. You should find some pics by doing some searches. I don't know how this would sound though...
