Default STORING FOR WINTER!!

i have my car in storage right now and i put it up on jackstands today, and was just wondering if this was a good idea? is it alright for the suspension to hang for long periods of time? i put the jackstands under the spring pockets in the front and on the rearend in the rear. any info on how some of you guys' store your rides would be appreciated. thanks

If your just going to store over the winter I would not bother with the jackstands at all.

I would not leave the suspension unloaded for long periods of time.

No point in getting it off the ground. It'd take a long storage period to flat spot tires, hurt wheel bearings & weaken your shocks/springs.

Try to get fresh oil in the car before you call it quits for the winter and try to do an oil change before the first run in the spring. The only thing you really need to worry about is the battery.

Dry gas is always a good thing too

sure there is, you can run 33 super swapers in the spring my uncles TT saged all winter and it had an extra inch or so of height in the spring on his porsche, he uses these foam pads to park on which work good

get a batter tender, not charger

fill up the gas tank, add dry gas, do an oil change, and detail the car, also get a breathable car cover from covercraft

do NOT start it unless you plan on driving it for a good 20 miles
