Default Short throw shifter just for racing?

Is there any other reason to get one of these? I thought about getting an MGW short throw shifter, but other than the shorter throws is there any other benefit? I enjoy banging the gears but I don't take the car to the strips or anything. Does it feel better when you shift w/ one of these kits? At $180 I figure it wouldn't hurt to try it. Also maybe less driver fatigue in stop and go because you dont have to throw as long. Thoughts/comments?

They are great. Go for it. Its alot easier to bang. Especially 3rd gear. My steeda shifter was spring loaded, so you couldnt miss 3rd. Good stuff

I have an MGW shifter. I think it makes it nicer to drive . Whether you`re racing or just cruising, it adds to the fun.

Wow it's that great, huh? So shorter throws and better feel? And yeah missing a shift definately sucks., doesn't happen often but when it does it's very annoying. I think this will definately be my next mod.
