just out of curiosity what is this whats its purpse and where does it go??

i thought it was just some sort of a cheezy ground or something and pops on the bolt that holds on the fuel rail am i wrong???? there really is nowhere else it fits besides the valve cover stud and i know it doesnt go there

looks like a ground to me, where ever that came from you need to put it back though haha

it goes on the back fuel rail stud on the drivers side of course. If you look at the back stud that bolts the back of the rail to the intake, that boot goes over that stud.

thats what i thought and where i put it on my car but some guy tried to tell me im wrong whatever....... but what the hell is it exactly????

They're right, it goes on the valve bolt stud. It's just a ground.

what does it ground though??? would it ground the fuel system, the cop's, or what its a puny ground so i doubt it would ground anything of significance

I don't know without looking at it. I do have a question those, where did you get your cobra tank and pumps from?
