George,
Welcome back, from what seems to be a good break..
It's a shame you won't be able to build up an engine after all.. I'd have to agree though, that going PI-swap is a great idea, w/ a ton of bolt-ons... That way, you can take care of a few different gremlins at once, and focus on saving money for other worthwhile mods...
Besides, you can always throw a 100 shot on there a while down the road, and still have a nice performance boost...

true... well when I start to have a sizable cash stashed, we will see what is available and what I do. Who knows, maybe I can build up? I just know to build a 4.6 to a decent HP that won't destroy it takes a lot of money.
Who knows what next year will hold for me, job wise, because I have to quit the ford dealer and get a job near the new house. My buddy is gonna try to get me in as a mechanic at a rental shop... apparently they are paid very well
All I know is my engine is coming out, and something awesome is getting put back in whether it be my existing engine fixed/upgraded or a fresh one with some fun parts... but the one in there is annoyin the fugg out of me the smoke and the lack of power past 4800 rpm...
