that's a key item. I have seen tons of those come into the dealer I work at, and I've driven many. The autos are pretty snappy off the line like the sticks, 5 speed auto. 220 horse V6 I believe... and I've seen a hand ful on lifts, had alook at the rear ends, and many have 3.55 rear ends.

The new v6s are getting less and less slow

theres a couple 05 v6 members running full bolt ons and tune that ran 14.3 at the track. The new V6's are pretty good but you need to be a *really* good driver to run those times.

Well,

Now that you mention 05 V6 with a tuner and tune, plus headers, (exhaust don't really matter) ......

you running a 01 GT.... I would not bet my paycheck ...... I am FI now, but with the above configuration before I could beat a 01 GT......Sorry!!!

The remark to "GT badges ...don't matter to Hispanics..." Hummm not very bright on your part!!!

Thanks,

Sorry but it is difficult at best to get a good description from the author on what that S197 has on.

Look,

There is a very noticable difference between a stock 4.0 S197 and a slightly Modified one...... and please we are talking about a 01 GT ...stock I am assuming....

Regardless, I don't came here saying that the S197 4.0 "is the best thing since sliced bread" but the car has a lot more in it than people give it credit for..... all I am saying is that don't go saying it is a sure Kill just because it has six cylinders......That's all......

how do you figure that, you get 10 rwhp from a tune, short tubes dont do jack, i doubt he would go through the work of long tubes, and exhaust would be like 10 as well, you s197 people need to get it through your head that you are no more then .2-.3 tenths quicker then new edges, a new edge with a jmod and tune will take an s197
