I found a set of richmond 4.10s for cheap is is it a bad idea to buy used gears? I have a 01gt 5spd should I go lower than 4.10s?

I personally would go new, but what you want to look out for is uneven wear and chips and any other damage on the teeth. As far as the ratio thats up to you and what you want to do with the car

what would my rpms be at 60 with 4.10s and 4.30s. how much of a differance would they be from my 3.55s?

go 4.10s. you will love them. i dont regret going with 4.10s one bit. i think 4.30s would be a little too much. and dont go with used gears. you can get motive 4.10s for 160 bucks. thats what i have and i have no problem at all with them

depends, do you know what tranny you have (what rpms are you at at 80) if you have the t3650 (around 2000 at 80) then 4.30s would be fine, if your around 2300 rpm you have a t45

410 2300 rpm @ 80 with a .68 ratio
430 2600 rpm @80 with the same .68

so for 400 RPM I would want a better hole shot with less tire spin
but that is just me
