I have a set of 3.73 not installed yet but I think I want to go with 4.10. I have noticed there is a 28 and 31 spline pinion or what ever it's called. Does anyone know what my 03 gt is supposed to have?

your GT comes stock with 28 spline a lot of people upgrade to 31 spline carrier and axles because it is a stronger setup before or once there diff goes good for track etc and I'm doing FRPP 4.10s when I come home from college and will upgrade to 31 splines and carrier if I ever manage to break what I got now

Your car has 28 spline axles. Most people upgrade to 31 spline if they upgrade their suspension for big power.
