Default 2003 GT aftermarket tach install

ok so i've got it all wired up and it all mounted where I wanted it.. but now i'm stuck on the wire that functions the tach.. which wire do I connect that to so I can get the tach functional?

nah I didn't get a tach adapter.. and after doing a ****load of searches i'm supposing I have to have that..

I had a 5 inch tach, you need the autometer tach adapter from jegs. It works perfectly

I was told you didn't absolutely need it and theres a way around it.. anyone know the way around it?

the tach wire is Pin #26 Green with white line and the only shiftlight you dont need a tach with is the raptor, I'm pretty sure you do need a tach adapter for the autometer shiftlight

i didnt need a tach adapter, 1 wire to ingintion switch, one to 12v in fuse box, one ground, one to what i beleive is pin48 in the ecu, i may be wrong on that pin, not sure if its diff for 99+ models

I have a gauge from FAZE and it says I don't have to have any of that.
