My friend just put a new system in his '03 and he offered to sell me his factory 6cd radio for a really good price, i would rather have the 6cd than the tape and 1 cd thats in my car now (2000 GT Convertible w/ the Mach 460). Is there a way to switch out radios? and whats all involved with the process?

You would need the newer style radio bezel. I think that would pretty much be it.
