The best mod for saving gas is the sell your car and buy a honda mod.

If you wanted to save gas you shouldnt have bought a mustang. End of story.
+1. I was just about to say the same EXACT thing!

Oops, almost forgot. Get one of those "Toranado" thingys and stuff it in your intake. You'll prolly pick up 12 or 13 more mpg and another 30 hp!

the reason i was wondering is b/c i've seen some people on here say they get 24-28mpg on the highway and i'm only getting like around 21. that's letting it shift at 2000rpm or sooner.

i would have to say the trade in mod. If you bought a stang you shouldn't worry about gas mileage. If you do worry about it trade it in.

24ish is possible with 95% conservative freeway driving. 28 only happens on V6's. I know, I had a 04 V6.

Ummm, I get 28 crusing at 75. All day long. Maybe I'm really bad at math. Nah, it was 28. When I drafted behind my wife's pickup, I got 30. 21 is a little low for highway.

Clean/replace the plugs, same for the air filter. You should be getting 25ish.

Not driving your car improves the mileage a lot.

Ummmm....my GT gets the same mileage as a V6 sedan. So, yeah, I bought my GT for mileage. And average near 25 with city/hiway driving. 28+ on the open interstates...closer to 30 on the slower highways.

Don't drive like an idiot and take care of your car and you will get good gas mileage...especially considering you'll blow the doors off 99% of the cars you run across.
