blow air into it from a compressor or something. canned air?

when I used to use the mr. clean thing (it's the filter thing that requires no drying with a towel) I didn't have that problem.

I have the same issue with my hood scoop AND myspoiler. This weekend I'm gonna get some silicone sealant and take them off and make a little gasket. I think I'll be able to do it so you can't see it. I'll let you know how it worx out....

When I dry my car I just lift the hood up after Im done washing it and before drying. A lot of water flosw off the hood anyway doing that and it gets 90% of the water out of the scoop.

+1

Also, you can always just dry the water really quick and hit it with a spray detailer if you don't get all the water out.

Go for a quick drive on the freeway after washing your car and then do a final dry. Water from tail lights, side mirrors, bottom of doors, hood scoop, and spoiler all hold water. Thats what I do.

go do some doughnuts in a gravel parking lot...acts like the spin cycle on your washer[8D]

naw i usually go for a short drive, i wash my car, take it around the block, bring it back, wipe it down and then finish detailing (wax etc)

Some guy on OffTopic said he drives over 100MPH every time he washes his car and it seems to dry it really good. [sm=badidea.gif]
