Default 4.6 block

i have a 4.6 sohc bare block and was wondering if i could use that block and make it into a dohc motor with a intake heads timing chains. if anyone has any info if this is possible please let me know and if there is anything else i would need. thanks

yea, cobra heads will fit right onto it. you'll just have to do some adjusting for a few things, such as the alternator mounting. but if your building it from scratch, shouldn't be any harder than building it up as a PI motor.

Gotta get a dohc timing cover as well, other things Im sure... best just to find a busted dohc and build it using your block.
