What to do with my rear springs????
I have the H&R sport spring kit on my 2002 GT. I was considering putting the stock springs back in the rear for 2 reasons, 1.) gives me a little more clearence (SLP catted X pipe hangs LOWWWW) 2.) wouldnt the stock springs in the rear help out my launches compared to the lowering springs?
ps. When i install my SLP long tubes, will it raise the exhaust up a little bit? as it currently is, the SLP X pipe in its present form (connected to the manifolds, comes apart to accept LT's) hangs down way too much as opposed to stock, i dont really know the reason for this.

hate to say it, but instead of having just that one tube connecting to you x pipe you now have 4 on each side, and it hangs just as low, (point of that sentance was to say it is just going to get worse)i would just leave your springs how they are, i bet if you put the other ones back on it would give you a horrible approach angle with driveways, parking lot entrances

As far as launches go, no. You need 'softer' springs up front, such as fox 4 cyl springs. With the *** that much higher, I'd bet your launches would be worse. You can also improve the launch by removing the from sway bar, but with lowering springs, not much will really help. Have you installed CAs and/or SFCs?
