Well most of you might know that I'm in search of a cobra tank and dual fuel pumps for my GT. I was told by Ford that thw 03/04 tanks are different than a 99 cobra tank. Supposedly the 99 cobra tank is the same as a GT tank. Does that mean it has no baffles in it? I know someone on another mustang site put an 04/03 cobra tank on his 04 saleen, but I'm confused if it's going to work on the GT. I've got a chance to get one cheap but don't want to buy it to find out it won't work. to sum it all up, will the 03.04 cobra tank, plug and plug on a 2000 GT? Mine of couse.

i know some tanks on some years have no return fuel line, but i cant see why it would be any different, its a fuel tank and nobody is ever going to see it, so unless it does something functionally equivilent to the price your paying, i wouldnt worry about it. but if it works on a saleen then it will work on yours. saleen is just a 2v with some apperance, handling, and minor performance additions (unless of course its the supercharged version)
