Now i know i am supposed to get a saw to cut them off and get some replacement pipe, I'm not that dumb. but do the O2 sensors have anything to do with it? or am i done as soon as i put back in the strait pipe? sry if it's a dumb ?

Well, first of all it is illegal to remove your cats. But now that that is out of the way, here's what I have.

The cats were taken off and replaced with an O/R Xpipe. The o2 sensors were fitted with o2 simulators which fool the computer into thinking there are sensors still in the car. Sounds mean as hell. Gas mileage does suffer a bit, but not really enough to worry about.

You should be able to unbolt everything and not cut anything. Then just bolt up your xpipe of choice.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that is how mine is done.

yeah just buy a o/r midpipe of your choice(X, H or prochamber), it will sound better in the end and you will have your stock midpipe for emissions testing.

personaly im going to buy a catted X in the spring.

Lucky for us there are ZERO emissions tests done in Alabama. You can do anything you want.

Seriously, just buy an O/R midpipe. You can get one for like 150 bucks.

that is what i don't want to do is get a new midpipe, because i will be getting LT and then that new midpipe would be a waste of money. we have no emissions here either, and i know it is illegal but who cares
