Honestly, you're 20. You'll probably live a lot longer. Spend a little bit and put the rest away for the future, unless the $10K is just a small portion of a much larger amount of cash.
That's the problem, I want to do it when I'm young because when i get married, I know this will never happen, I'll probably end up having to sell it
Thats what I thought too before I got married in Sept. My wife is an emergency room RN and makes a hell of alot more dimp than I do so naturally we have more money collectively than we did before we got married. She is letting drop 5 g's on a blower and supporting mods. Keep the faith bro, If she's a good woman she'll support you in your love for mustangs. Just don't make the mistake of spending more time with your snake than you do her (that'll **** her off trust me. LOL).

If you know your going to have to sell the car anyway why boither?

10K would make a nice house downpayment, or pay off a wedding and maybe a ring :_)

But according to research done by Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords and even on the Kenne Bell Website.... 2v Motors do respond better to F/I then 4v Motors..... I just listen to the bigger guys lol.

cool, I didn't know that. I just figured that the 4v was so much more responsive to other mods that it would be for F/I too. Guess I'm glad I have a 2v then cause blower's coming in 2 weeks. HOORAY

10 g's ... build/forge that motor ... and slap on a turbo .. theres a new helion single kit out .. like 5 grand .. but it allows you to expand to TT in the future .. so spend about 7500 on the build and turbo and you'll end up getting coil overs in the front with the new tubular k member and after that /// def. spend the 2500 you have left over on that suspension and some MT ET streets ...10 grand for me would be like a God send haha

I guess.

I just wouldn't blow 10 grand on a car and then turn around and get rid of it.

You do realise you cannot drive the car as a DD if you get really crazy N/A (or even FI) right, at least not while getting good MPG and it not being a PITA.

If I was going to spend 10K on a cobra I would have a centri setup with a forged assembly, a good fuel system, and a spend the rest on suspension upgrades (and whatever boltons you don't have done).
