Default A/F Ratio Gauge

Ok so I am getting myself and my car a christmas present. I am getting a dual gauge pod with the wideband A/F and oil pressure gauges. I looked in the sticky and found out about the oil pressure gauge install but not the A/F install. I am sure some of you have done it and I am wondering what beyond the gauge do I need to buy and how do you install it?

mine came with one, but it appears it just is wired to a power, ground, and then one wire taps into an 02 signal wire.

mine isn't wideband though it's just a gay lightshow one... but it's probably the same idea

I like A/F Gauges...... It makes for a pretty light show and makes me feel important in some kind of way when I'm next to another car on the road.....

So your gauge came with the correct wiring stuff. Where did you get it and for how much. Im still in the pricing stage.

I real wideband a/f gauge will come with a special wiring harness and o2 sensor. You have to get another o2 bung welded into your midpipe. Costs like 30bucks for that, tops. This is the one I had my parents get me for Christmas. Along with an Autometer sport-comp vac/boost gauge (looks just like the aem wideband) and an autometer dual pod full length pillar thingy. Can't wait for it all to get here!

My options for the gauge pod are limited because I am a convertible. I am just getting the cheapy from Summit for like $28 but everybody on another Mustang website I frequent told me about THIS one but I think it is waaaayyy too much money and I personally don't like the look of it.

I kinda wanted an A/F gauge that was the needle style instead of the light show. They make them but not in the 2 1/16" size like I need.[>:]
