Hey gang, I just bought my first Mustang two weeks ago. It's a 99 GT. I love it by the way!! The 5 speed rocks!! Anyway, it's time for some exhaust. The stock note is o.k, but I need something louder, lol!! My 96 Camaro SS I had before had Magnaflow and it sounded mint, so I need something good! I've heard a little about Dynomax, but haven't heard peoples thoughts and opinions about them. If anyone has any exhaust suggestions, please post. I'll be buying this Monday!! Since, choices are limited here I'm down to Magnaflow, Flowmaster or Dynomax. Thanks!!

I've driven a 2000 GT with the Ultra Flos and they sound pretty good, are deep, but they are fairly quiet. They really aren't much louder than stock. Quality is good and they look great, but there just isn't much "uumphfff" to the exhaust note. I would recommend the Magnaflow Magnapacks if you want a loud throaty rumble for your Stang.

I have Magnaflows right now on my 06 GT. Ihad dynomax mufflers on my 93 stang and they both sound great but different!

The dynomaxs are really deeep and resonate beautifully but I never noticed any drone. I have magna packs on the 06 GT and there is slight drone at about 1800 RPM and it usually is only noticable to me when I take off from a stop in normal traffic

Oh I had flowmasters on the 93 stang and then went to dynomax super turbos and only switched out the mufflers and the sound was to me so much better! I would stay away from flowmaster if you want a different sound. I also have an x-pipe on the 06 and an H-pipe on the 93....can make a big difference in sound! Just an FYI

Thanks for the replies! I've heard that the Magnaflow Magnapacks sound really nice to. Can anyone give me some more info on them? I'll search a bit too!

i HATE flowmasters...SO hollow sounding...i like the Borla Stingers as well

if you want loud get an o/r x with dynomax race bullets. code3gt has that on his car and his car is freaking loud.
Yes his camera is weird and makes noises no thats not his car blowing up.
