I recently just bought a V2 Mongoose kit, and because i have a 1997, the kit came without a fuel pump. I emailed Tim and Rhonda and they told me I should go with a 255lph Walbro Intank fuel pump...so i bought one of them. I was just wondering if anybody knows how much horsepower these support up to?? Thanks...because I'm planning on making close to 385-400rwhp and was wondering if that pump will be fine for that much hp...thanks

I have the 255lph high pressure pump and from the asking around i did from my mechanics and tuner i was told it will easily handle 400rwhp. If you step up from there you just add an inline pump unless you plan on going 600-700+ and up then you start looking at sumped tanks and aeromotive pumps.

I have the 255 and works fine for me, plus its easy as hell to install.

awsome...yeah it says on their website you just take out the old one...put this in its place and thats it...yes it is an intank 255lph Walbro... i was just making sure this baby can handle close to 400rwhp...thanks for the comfort guys!

You'll be fine with that pump.
