Default What's with my RPM's and ideling

After starting my car (at any temp.) and coming to a stop in neutral (5-speed), my RPM’s slowly work it’s way down to an idle. Then the idle pauses at about 1,000-1,300 RPM’s for about 2-3 seconds and drops fast to about 300 RPM’s and bounces up to a normal RPM range. It just about stalls. What do yall about that?! Thanks for your replies.

I kinda have the same problem as you. Mine at idle bounces between 500-800 really quickly over and over.

I know what you mean. I don't know if it needs a tune up or a timing problem. I have no idea.

most likely IAC could be a clogged fuel filter though...

Thanks for the replies. I'll look into it. And hopefully it's not oo much of a problem.

i agree with the iac. the idle is supposed to drop slow to around 1k, but it's not supposed to go below the factory idle rpm.
