Default Fuel Filter?

I was wondering today that it might be time to change my fuel filter. The car has 46K, but I was wondering if it's internal or external?
Would go out and look, but a little under the weather now.

Thanx, Phil

Go to the back of the car, crawl under, just behind the black plastic fuel tank cover you will see it.
Since you have 99+ you need the special little tool to get it off.

The tool

The filter

You know, I'd have to say that this is the BEST Automotive forum I've been apart of folks!
To understand what I mean, others' that I've been affiliated with, I'd have to wait hours or days for a response. With this one, there's a response within minutes, and insight to help you along the way.
Major "props" you guys, and thank you.

Another question...

The Intake/Throttle body cleanser, is it safe to use on my car? Not trying to sound like a "newbie" to automobiles at all, but as you all know, every car is different in it's own way. I mean, with computers now-a-days.
I used it on my Probe GT, every oil change and had great results with no "backfires." I was just wondering if the same relates to the 4.6 rather than to the 2.5.

Again thank you for your help,
Phil

It should be fine to use, just use alittle though. And make sure to wipe it up well with a cloth so there are no fumes. Carb cleaner works well with the tb too.
