air fuel gauge

RE: air fuel gauge
Well, Do you want an accurate air fuel gage or just for show (bling bling ) ?
If you really need to know what air fuel ratio your motor is running all the time U need a wide band. If U trust your tune and the motor is making good power now then just get a cheap gage.
The ones that hook up to the stock O2 can be found for as low as $23.00

I have a fuel pressure gauge and a boost gauge but..
honestly even the a/f ratio gauge is useless. If the car suddenly goes lean your never gonna see it before it goes boom. The only real reason to have a a/f gauge is if you have the abilty to acutally tune the car (not just adjust it with a handheld, acutally write the tune) and you don't want to use a dyno, or simply don't have one availble.
I never bother to look at my boost/fuel pressure gauge (actually, the FPG is still not hooked up lol) cause its just not worth it. Unless you happen to be staring at it at exactly the right moment its just not going to help. If it goes boom, its going to do so in the blink of an eye.

Exactly why I want to sell my gauges.

RE: air fuel gauge
I was trying to figure out what wire to tap into for the signal from my front O2 sensors so I can connect a volt meter. I figured it would show me more or less what a narrow band gage would.
Unfortunately my shop manuals bot suck so I really don't know what wire it is ..........[&o]
