Well Damn, thats a bummer [>:] guess I am going to have to settle for the 230 rwhp for awhile than, the car is just to new to do to much to right now. The car only has 5000 miles on it and I dont want to go into the engine until around 60K or better, that goes for the supercharger as well. Gonna take awhile for the wife to calm down from me purchasing the car. It was her turn for a car but I found a deal I could not pass up.

Thanks for the input guys, guess I should have bought a 99 or better, but than again I am sure I would not have gotten as good a deal as I did.

I have pretty much a full bolt on engine and I dyno'd at 276rwhp and 325 rwtq. Get some cams and 300 is easy.

Yours = '02 GT
His = '98 GT
= NOT THE SAME! Read the post JD!

And on yours..you would have a CAM...not CAMS

Alright, who pissed in the rent-a-cops wheaties again this morning? He has a 98 4.6L V8. He, just as I, would require 2 cams... not just one. Hence the term SINGLE OVER HEAD CAMS!

What the hell is wrong with you in the past week? I did read the post and I responded correctly minus the fact that he needs a PI intake and heads upgrade.

So quit trying to correct my mistakes and worry about yourself.

Well I happened to mention to a guy at work that I wouldnt mind picking up an older Mustang, well later that day another guy at work ask if I was looking for one, said he had heard that I was. He said that he knew about a 98 for sale with 4500 miles, garage kept. I was thinking yea right, I have heard these stories before but I figured it might be worth a look. Sure enough, a brand new black and gold GT with 4528 miles on it, stored away in a garage. I just could not believe it or pass it up, so now it resides in my driveway instead of that nice garage. Wish I had a garage I could keep it in.

I personally knew what shakin was getting at with his post. jd, it'd be SOHC not SOHCs. Single overhead cam as in one camshaft per bank. But yes you'd need two cams.

Could he swap a DOHC from a 99 or so NA Cobra and then do camS? I think that'd net him more than SOHC heads swap.
