I have a few questions that might help. Do Proline springs NEED to have C/C plates or does it not lower the car enough to require them? I thought I saw on here that a couple of people were complaining that one side of their car was lower than the other after the Eibachs settled and got some miles on them. Please correct me if I'm wrong because I wan't lowering springs for Christmas so this could help the both of us.

accorindg to fordracing.com the C springs should be fine for the vert. They actually have 5 different springs, B, C, F, G and J(cobra only). Not to confuse you, yes they'll work for the verts. F is for coupe only and g is for convertible only. didn't realize they had so many different ones. Yes he should like them just fine. Depends also if he wants that lowered look and performance rated spring.

best thing u can do - take it to a shop and get the stockers cut for him - 120 bucks for all 4 - offers the most comfortable ride possible for the least dough - only thing better for a nice ride is air bags which is.......expensive to say the least

Don't half *** it by cutting stuff up. That's the cheap andcan't do it right type of way. Do it right, buy the springs that are meant for lowering. I'v never half assed anything on my car. Gone the full route and enjoyed it in everyway. Good luck with the xmas present. Wish I could find a woman that would do that for me. Hell I wish I could find a woman, lol.
