Good post. I looked into that option a while ago. But I opted to keep the GT. For some reason those models ZO6 have a terrible resale value. I'm not sure if it's the nature of the car, or if there is a flaw in them.
Most people who buy corvettes money isn't really an issue and they want it brand new. My GUESS is this is the reason for the bad resale value. 8 months ago I saw a couple of 3,000 mile 2002 +/- zo6's going for $32,000.
Big boost in insurance and forget about driving in winter with one...
