Hmmm... they are kind of expensive on ebay. I think I'll just get a 2.5" diameter mandrel bent U, and cut it down to make the two turn downs. I think I can pick up a U for $20, so that would prolly be the way I'll go... Thanks guys.

is there any advantage to turn downs instead of tips? only thing I can see is slight weight reduction

ORIGINAL: kecclest

I want to get some turndowns to put on my exhaust after the mufflers, but I can't seem to easily be able to find them for 2.5" exhaust... does anybody know where I can pick up a couple turndowns for 2.5" pipe. I'm tired of messing with my tips, and it wouldn't hurt to lose the 10+ lbs of pipe after the mufflers.

Thanks.

No need to buy any muffler shop will charge a small fee to use trash tube simple bend and weld... don't buy........

I had dumps didn't like put old exhaust from axle's back.. back on..

To loud inside.. rattles everything gets on your nerves.... + on mine out the back was louder then underneath the car for some reason

I'm going to do something very similar to this except I will have turndowns coming out of the open part probably. So I will have the option for normal exhaust, or turndowns.
