I just did this today, very easy to do. I printed out the instructions and got all the tools ready, after that it was a breeze.

Here's a few pics. Couldnt have been happier with the results. Only thing that didnt go smooth was the middle aligning holes. I had to file those a bit.

Very nice write up.
I wonder if it is possible to swap a later stantion/pillar style spoiler for the earlier 99 style and if the 99 style would then cover up the other holes? Hmmm....

I love how it looks on your cars!! I want to do it to my car but I was wondering if it would look better on my car if I switched my silver spoiler for a black one and moved it back? What doyou allthink?

Ive been thinking about doing this. I just dont know if I have the guts to drill into my trunk knowing that if I mess up somehow, it will ruin my trunk. Maybe Ill get my knowledgable friend to come over and watch me so I feel better. It doesnt seem difficult at all, but I need moral support before I stick that drill on my car. lol I know im horrible. Just a heads up, on my trunk the struts to hold it open are a little worn, (causing my trunk to close a bit harder than usual) and now that the spoiler sticks out further, it slams on to the paint and has put little paint chips on each side. Just something to watch out for.

maybe one day i'll get bored and do it.. but eh.. its all good...

i hate the 01-04 spoiler though... 99-00 new edge FTW
