a few pointers that worked for me

1) with the burn out
a)go in the watter box
b) pull out
c) put in 2nd gear
d) dump the clutch at 3500
e) hold the brake

2) with the launch (i see you have drag radials ( i did this with slicks)
a)bring tack to 4500 rpm
b)last yellow dump the clutch and put the gas pedal to the floor

i did those simple steps with my gt, 5 speed, with just long tube headers, off road h pipe, flow master weld ins, and a set of street slicks. and turned a 13.70 at 104mph and a 2.0 60 foot time.

ps also take your air filter silencer off, and take the passanger side head light out. you will get more air into the intake

I just give him a hard time, no offense. My dad has a 99 V6 vert and its a nice car... I used to pimp it in high school. Also I wouldn't wanna spend that much getting 500hp out of the V6.

yeah they can look nice and all but they sound so horrible to me. Reminds me too much of rice. With the money any car can have over 500 hp

thanks for the tips. i was doin second gear burnouts but starting in 1st. and i would slip the clutch off the line. i dumped it one time and spun. i sliped the clutch from 4500 and pulled a 1.958 60 and ran a 13.8 so i need to shift a little faster i guess. this was after i missed 3rd the run before so i didnt want to **** up again so i was making sure i got every gear lol. ps i got a cold air intake so i dont have the silencer. if i take off the headlight does that really make me run faster???

I have never been to the track... no advice lol. But the car looks and sounds great and the times are good. Just look slike if you get the swing of things your times should come down.

I can't wait to go to the track
