Default how much money

im curious to know roughly how much money would i need to put into my 2 valve motor to bring it up to about 350-400rwhp, I'd really like to keep it N/A if possible, but if F/I is needed I'd like to know how much that might cost me.
Thanks, nate

if youre looking for that much power...you either have to do heads/cams/intake...f/i...or nitrous. nitrous being the cheapest...the other two you're going to have to dish out a decent wad of cash...its hard to say how much money...give us a route you are looking to go and then we'll give you an estimate.

Are you doing the labor yourself or do you have to pay someone to do it?

The labor costs will probably be as high as as the price of most parts

I know everyone will correct me if I'm wrong...but I don't think thats going to happen N/A. 350+ HP on an SN95, your talking FI and beyond.

im on that route right now as we speak...exactly what my goal is 350-400rwhp...im planning on running this:

full bolt ons
V2 SQ trim mongoose kit
boost pipe
bypass valve
PI intake manifold
Paxont a/a intercooler
blower cams
smaller pulley running 10 lbs

im hoping all of that will put me close to 385rwhp...i agree though just slapping a s/c on a non pi motor will get you maybe 300rwhp?? if that??

Those mods with a non-pi motor will probably get you in the 300-325 rwhp range. Keep in mind that the non-pi heads are the biggest restriction on that motor. If you're getting all those mods done, you should go a little further and install a set of PI heads. A set of PI heads arent that much and can be found at any salvage yard. I would also recommend sending the PI heads off to get ported and polished. If you change the heads out and do all the other mods you listed, your car should be closer to the 400 hp range.

Edit: I was responding to 97stanger's post about his mods

thats very untrue...the heads won't add that much more power...the most restrictive parts of the pi motor are the pi intake and the cams...which im replacing...i was told by my tuner ill be between 380-390 rwhp...all he works on are sn95's
