Default Mid-pipe question

Me and my brother recently put on an MAC h-pipe on his '00 GT. Once we had it on, I did my best to check for leaks. I couldn't really get to the passenger side where it connects to the header. The driver side had a bad leak that I fixed for the most part, but I have a feeling like the passenger side most likely has a leak. It also makes a strange exhaust note when no or little throttle is applied, but at full throttle it is fine. This also sounds like a leak symptom. I was just wondering what anyone else did to check the passenger side on their mid-pipe install?

It did come with a gasket and it was put on. Could you get your hand in there to check? I'm thinking about an x-pipe for my car and I was just wandering b/c I'll probably have to do it again.

So you just kept re-adjusting it until it stopped? Several times I loosened it and retightened it.

I was thinking about taking mine to a shop when I get it to make sure it definitely doesn't leak, but idk if I want to spend the money. Anyone know how much shop's typically charge for installs?

Well if the mustang shop here quotes similar to that, I'll probably just do that so I know there is no leak.
