Default 7000+ redline

I just bought a rotating assembly from dss racing includes forged h beam rods, forged pistions and a cobra crank, just curious on what i could redline at....... and what other stangs redline is with forged internals

did you get springs and retainers? if you didn't i wouldn't sugguest upping the redline too much.

Upgrade the valvetrain to match the engine you wont be doing much good. You will have a block that will support higher RPM's but the valves wont.

Not sure what your "new" max redline would be with all that stuff. But more important, get the thing on a dyno once it's built & SEE where the horsepower/torque curves max out at. There isn't much need to rev a lot past that max reading even if your englne was capable of spinning faster(?)

Yeah if your built to spin fast it all is going to depend when you cams are done making power. That's what the redline should be based off of.
