Default NOVI 1000

Just wanted to hear if anyone had any opinions on the NOVI 1000 in comparision to other centri. s/c. Everyone always talks about the vortech ,procharges and even powerdynes(sp) but no one ever talks about the NOVI's good or bad.

Paxton, vortech, and procharger are the good brands....powerdyne is the bad brand. Pick whichever you get a better deal on or are partial to.

Well here are the 2 I have my eye on. One is a V2 S trim SQ with 42lbs injectors and 90mm maf with 2k miles for $2,150 shipped or a NOVI 1000 with an 87mm maf(?) with 4k miles for $1,575 shipped. I'm kinda torn, I don't really have a preference either way I guess. Any opinions?

I don't have a forged short block and I've heard the 2000's arent the greatest on lower boost settings.

If the novi1000 doesnt come with injectors and only has an 87mm maf the vortech might be the better deal. Because you will probably need to get a 90mm maf and you definately have to get injectors. What are your final power goals? the novi1000 is good for 650HP the paxton says, if you want more then that...look toward the novi2000 or vortech t-trim.

650rwhp would be plenty for me. Does anyone know where you could get a mass air meter compatible with diable tunnig chips?

And you wont be anywhere near 650 with that stock block you have.
