Exactly what parts are needed to forge your motor? Does anybody sell a package that does this? I'm not very knowledgable on this topic, so any direction from the brilliant minds would be great... thanks!

Im seriously not tryin to be a ***** by saying this....
but if you dont know what constitutes "forged internals" then you really shouldnt even consider
trying to do it yourself...

but to answer your questions, a "forged" engine typically consists of forged (as opposed to cast) short block internals (crank, rods, pistons)

I know the basic parts that are forged internals, but wasnt sure what exactly was needed to consider it forged internals. Is there anything that can carry over from my 2V or does everything need to be swapped out? And don't worry about the ***** part, I know i am an idiot about this, that's why i asked So just crank rods and pistons are needed? is there anything else i should change if i go about doing this?

depends on what you are building for.
NA, FI? how much hp are you shooting for?

that will be the main thing that determines what you want to use from your stock engine, and what you want to replace
with heavy duty (forged) components.
