Default Which centrifugal s/c do you run?

What kind of centrifugal superchargers do you guys run?

Between some known brands, like ATI procharger and Paxton Novi and others which one would make the most power with the same boost on the same car?
Do you buy from ebay? or do you order straight from the site and have a shop install it?

They all make the same power with the same boost actually...However I believe that a paxton or vortech w/ an intercooler will make more power than an intercooled procharger. Since non-intercooled vortechs / paxtons usually make the same power as intercooled prochargers.

hmm...i beg to differ...the non-cooled vortech/paxton doesnt make nearly as much power as the intercooled procharger...i got one at 8 psi with only and o/r x and lm1 catback and the numbers u see in my sig were before the lm1...they were with flowmasters welded in so there u go

yea incorrecto - prochargers make a significant amout more than vortech or paxton at same boost levels - procharger has a higher step up ratio and a better impeller

exactly...even if it is a cooled vortech its just about the same power at the SAME boost level as the procharger....but it costs more...and like i said before i like all three brands of these centris but it is what it is

Funny you say that.... check out superchargersonline.com and they do a independent side by side comparison of the procharger and vortech. For the lazy, http://www.superchargersonline.com/i...1sc_report.pdf If you read it not only does the vortech have a 73% efficency rating compared to the 52% efficency rating of the procharger but the procharger is the least efficent supercharger they've ever tested. Don't believe everything you read in their ads.

IMHO stick with vortech or powerdyne. Intercooled or aftercooled setups always make more power than non-cooled. Colder air = denser air = more power. Plus you can run more boost which makes even more power potential.
