Default Question about engine swaps

If I were to swap in a 2001 4.6 for my 99 will I need to use the 01 engine harness, MAF and ECU? Didn't ford integrate the AIT sensor into the MAF in 01? If I were to swap in the 01 motor I think I would need the 01 engine harness and MAF but what about the ECU?

Default RE: Question about engine swaps

Just put your intake on the 01 engine and put it in. 99 to 04 all had the same heads so it'll work.
