yeah it makes perfect sense i want a switch that will kill the motor if the oil pressure drops
When the engine is turned off, the oil pressure is zero.
With the switch in place, would you be able to start your car in the morning?

Unless of course, it's a switch you flip once the car is started and running.

i think monster trucks have them im not sure. I have high oil pressure at idle like 45-50 psi. when the oil heats up is when the pressure drops to like 28-35 psi. i want a switch that will kill the motor at 15psi.

You can do a search for hobbs switch. The fuel pressure and oil pressure switches are basically the same, but you still might have to install a bypass to start it

makes sense. i guess i could hook a fuel pressure switch to an oil line i have an accusump oil accumulator so i can give the motor pressure before it starts up with the flick of a switch
